The Art of the Landscape
Nature may be one of the most beloved subject matters in art; from sunsets to mountain ranges, city-scapes to seascapes, the material to work from is rich and children are naturally connected to it. Young artists will explore the art of the landscape through the study of famous paintings and photography, as well as the surroundings of their own backyards, to create their own landscape art while working with a wide variety of materials and processes.
Ages 5-7

All About Sculpture
Children of all ages love to build and construct. Young artists are introduced to the fascinating and fun media of three-dimensional art as they create sculptures from a variety of materials including, but not limited to: paper, wood, clay, styrofoam, and recycled/found objects.

Kids Art Express
Young artists are invited to stop by our Jupiter studio for a chance to work on skills and explore different techniques and media, all while creating a work of art from start to finish.

Beyond Seeing: Observational Sketchbook Drawing
We all see and experience the world differently, and the visual arts provides one of the greatest ways to express what we see and feel. Observational Sketchbook Drawing gives young artists the chance to study an object and take the time to really see how it interacts with and changes with the environment around it. Emphasis on line quality, composition, and value will give students the skills they need to draw from life. Join us to slow down, sketch, and see the world through an artist’s eyes!

Kids Painting Studio
Young artists are invited to spend an afternoon catering to their creative side with our Kids Painting Studio. Each studio session will offer the opportunity to paint on canvas and explore a different subject to learn more about composition, lighting, perspective, and detail. Whether learning a new skill or refining technique, join us in the beautiful late afternoon setting of the Kids Need More Art studio space!

NOTE: Studio 6-week class rates are consistently based at $10/hr. plus material fees.
6-week class fees plus material fee:
$90 for 1.5 hrs. $120 for 2.0 hrs. $150 for 2.5 hrs. $180 for 3.0 hrs.
Material fees:
$20 for 1.5 hrs. $25 for 2.0 hrs $30 for 2.5 hrs. $35 for 3.0 hrs.
