Please note: The deadline for changes and cancellations with refund consideration is May 18th. After that date, no refunds will be given for cancellations. Please note that all refunds are subject to a 10 percent service charge for credit card processing fees.
IMPORTANT: Payment must be submitted online at time of registration. If payment is not received with registration, the registration will be cancelled and removed from the system. SIBLING/MULTI-WEEK DISCOUNTS: We are pleased to offer discounts to those registering a sibling or attending for multiple weeks. To receive the sibling/multi-week discount, simply REGISTER THE FIRST CHILD OR FOR THE FIRST WEEK OF ATTENDANCE AT THE NORMAL PRICE, then enter the code TEN into the promo code box for each subsequent week or sibling registration. This will apply a discount of 10% to your qualifying registration.
Please note that all sibling and multi-week discounts will be verified against registration records. Multi week registrations do not need to be completed at the same time. Once you have paid full price for your child for a week, you may use the multi-week discount code for any other weeks registered at the time of registration.

Jupiter Summer Art Series - Read More
Art Facts:
- Weekly camp fee includes all art material, registration fee, one camp t-shirt, and a bag.
- Since we get messy in art, campers are to wear their camp shirts each day. We also use aprons in the studio. Additional camp shirts can be purchased for $20/each.
- Every week is staffed with a certified art teacher and interns with an approximate 1:6 staff/student ratio. All campers will be in the same age group.
- Young artists are expected to create at least three major projects and two minor ones within the five days using a mixed media approach.
- Young artists will also be exposed to master artist studies and educational resources based on our weekly theme.
- Campers do not need to register for the two weeks of each set of themes. Individual weeks are encouraged, as well, and connections will be made between the set of themes.
- All campers must bring lunch Monday-Thursday and water each day. We encourage “green” reusable water bottles and containers.
- KNMA will provide a pizza lunch each Friday.
- All campers should pack a morning and afternoon snack each camp day, as well as lunch and a drink. KNMA offers additional snacks for sale on site as well. If you would like your camper to purchase additional snacks, please ensure they bring cash.
- KNMA prices our camps out as low as possible. We are pleased to offer sibling discounts when registering multiple children.
- We wear socks in the studio to keep our floors clean and free of germs. We always have clean socks in the studio, but please feel free to bring your own.
- KNMA offers a fun, safe, creative, nurturing, and educational environment. We reserve the right to dismiss a child from camp without refund who is continually disruptive to our overall environment and does not adjust to repeated requests or family support.
- Single day options are available if our week is not full. Daily spots will be released the Friday before the start of camp.
- All camp fees are due at time of registration. No refunds or changes to registrations can be made to registrations completed after May 18th. Unfortunately, we are unable to issue credit or refunds for absences, so please make sure to attend all camp days to make great ART!

Lunar & Solar!
The Summer of 2026 will shine in brilliant contrasts as Kids Need More Art celebrates the beauty of night and day through LUNAR and SOLAR! Our young artists will begin under the quiet spell of the LUNAR phase, diving into the dreamy mysteries of the night—just like Vincent van Gogh painting starry skies, or Ansel Adams capturing moonlit horizons. Georgia O’Keeffe’s luminous landscapes will spark our imaginations as we explore the elegance and emotion of nocturnal scenes. Then, we’ll step into the golden glow of the SOLAR experience and let creativity burst like sunlight! Campers will feel the warmth and energy of the day as they paint with the bold, radiant colors of Claude Monet, Edvard Munch, and Romero Britto. From shadow to sunlight, our artists will discover the dynamic magic that happens when night meets day!

Asteroid & Adventure!
Artists as explorers will embark on an ASTEROID and ADVENTURE journey this summer! The excitement begins with ASTEROID, where our young visionaries will launch into the wonders of space—capturing motion, scale, and powerful impact like Chesley Bonestell’s cosmic scenes or Wassily Kandinsky’s dynamic forms. Imagine Alan Bean meeting Jackson Pollock as we experiment with expressive techniques and create energy-charged masterpieces inspired by Futurism and Abstract Expressionism. Next, it’s time for ADVENTURE, where bold stories unfold across painted landscapes. Channeling the spirit of Paul Gauguin, Winslow Homer, and Henri Rousseau, campers will use their art to explore distant worlds, daring discoveries, and the thrill of creative exploration!

Stars & Stripes!
Get ready to make a statement with STARS and STRIPES! Artists as designers and storytellers will dive into the powerful world of symbols, using art to celebrate identity, history, and creative freedom. In the STARS experience, campers will look to the sky for inspiration—studying the hope-filled works of Jasper Johns, Andy Warhol, and Robert Indiana, and experimenting with bold patterns and vibrant repetition. STRIPES will bring rhythm and movement to life, as artists explore lines and patterns inspired by Bridget Riley’s optical illusions, Frank Stella’s daring shapes, and Louise Bourgeois’s expressive forms. Together, we’ll celebrate the courage to create, the freedom to imagine, and the joy of telling our own stories through art!

Shimmer & Shine!
Our young artists will dive into SHIMMER and SHINE, using art to bring out light, sparkle, and their own creative energy. In the SHIMMER experience, they’ll experiment with glittering textures, reflections, and gentle light effects. Drawing inspiration from Impressionism, mixed media, and artists like Gustav Klimt, Yayoi Kusama, and Joaquin Sorolla, young artists will get hands-on with color, patterns, and shiny or reflective materials to create artwork that truly glimmers. The SHINE experience is all about bold brightness and lively energy. Inspired by Pop Art, abstract painting, and the works of artists like Sonia Delaunay, Wayne Thiebaud, and David Hockney, young artists will use vivid colors, strong contrasts, and dynamic shapes to make art that bursts with vibrancy!

Film & Fame!
Lights, camera, creativity! In FILM and FAME, our studio transforms into a Hollywood set, where every artist gets their moment in the spotlight. During FILM week, the focus is on cinematic storytelling and visual drama. Inspired by movie posters, storyboard art, and Pop Art and Realism, the work of artists like, Roy Lichtenstein, Chuck Close, and Edward Hopper, will inspire young artists to experiment with composition, mood, and narrative to bring stories to life. Next, our FAME week will celebrate celebrity, style, and personality. Drawing inspiration from Portraiture and Pop Culture Art, artists will explore works by Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, and Shepard Fairey, using color, expression, and design to capture charisma and star power. Together, FILM and FAME invites artists to reach for the stars through imaginative works inspired by the magic of movies and the allure of stardom!
